G.William Bonnie is an Environmental Design Major with a focus in Environmental Products of Design. Stemming from Denver, CO, G. has developed his passion and appreciation for nature and the environment through his love for the outdoors and all the natural beauty Colorado has to offer. This sentiment has developed into a moral philosophy surrounding environmental ethics during his time in the ENVD program at CU Boulder. These values of cyclical design, sourcing responsible materials, and considering all effects of bringing a product to market (along with aesthetic considerations of course) have guided his designed projects throughout his career. G. believes that design is an organic and democratic process that should include all stakeholders as much as possible. He believes design is an exercise in empathy, and to understand how to design a product is to understand that products’ user. G. is interested in multi-medium creation spanning from digital graphic design and 3d modeling to printmaking and painting. G. wishes to continue his exploration in multi-medium design with the goal of making life just a little easier, a little better and a little more responsible with the products he creates.
